61st Annual Dairy Festival Days
The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the 61st Annual Dairy Festival Days in Canton will be held on Friday, June 6th and Saturday, June 7th. Please join us for a weekend full of fun while we celebrate National Dairy Month and our agricultural roots!
Friday kicks off the festival with vendors, displays, and activities in the park starting at 5:00 pm. Registration for the beloved Big Wheel Races will be at 5:30 pm, allowing children ages 4, 5, and 6 to compete in age-specific races for a grand prize of their very own Big Wheel and medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. The Big Wheel Races are made possible by our Bronze Level Sponsors, A.W. Collins Corporation and North Country Savings Bank. Following the races is the Block Dance sponsored by our Platinum Level Sponsors, LeBerge & Curtis, Inc. and Coakley Home & Hardware! Enjoy an evening of music and dancing right on Park Street in Canton! We are pleased to be hosting Steelin’ Country. Be sure to bring a chair and check out our local restaurants and food trucks while you’re there.
Saturday continues the fun with vendors, displays, and activities in the park starting at 10:00 am. For a full list of vendors, check out our website, VisitSTLC.com/2025-dairy-festival-days. In line with our theme, “Red, White and Moo”, a 1-mile Fun Run and 5K, coordinated by the STLC Chamber and SLC Dairy Promotion Council, will begin registration at 8:30 am in the park. The run is FREE for all participants, however, registration on the day of the event is required. All children 12 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
From 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, K-Stone Acreage & Rescue will have their petting zoo in the park with various animals to feed and interact with! Pony rides and animal food will be available for purchase during this time. The petting zoo is made possible by our Silver Level Sponsors,Grasse River Family Dental, the Stadium Sports Bar and the St. Lawrence County Farm Bureau. The parade will also take its traditional route downtown at 1:00 pm. Please join us in cheering on this year’s Dairy Princess, Isabella Peretta, and the various floats, cars, and marching participants. Following the parade will be the Duck Pluck 50/50 Raffle, get your tickets now, 1 for $2 and 3 for $5 at the STLC Chamber office.
