Screening of The 46ers

Cinema 10 continues its Fall 2025 season on Monday October 6th with a screening of The 46ers, a 2015 US film directed by Blake Cortright at 7:15pm at the Roxy in Potsdam.

Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, The 46ers is a love-letter to the Adirondack High Peaks. Director Blake Cortwright chronicles some of the people who find meaning and majesty in their pursuit of hiking all 46 Adirondack High Peaks. Speaking to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, Cortwright said of the film’s genesis, “I think people are ready for something a little more substantive and slower paced, that’s a little more immersive… The Adirondacks aren’t just content — they’re an experience.” [2015 / US / 65 min + 25 preshow Q&A and post show panel]
