Hey, I’m RJ. I’m North Country born and raised, with most of my life spent in Canton. I fell in love with radio at a young age listening to personalities like Delilah Rene and Casey Kasem. Though most people my age are listening to streaming sites, I’ve stuck with radio my whole life. I’ve always enjoyed entertaining people and started out in school plays when I was five, a hobby I pursued for thirteen more years. After graduating high school in 2018, I started attending SUNY Potsdam where I majored in Speech Communications. During college, I began interning with Jody Tosti on B99.3. Jody taught me the ropes to radio as I worked with her on her morning show: “Community Connection”. I continued to work as an intern for another year and eventually started to pick up some part-time work behind the scenes. I graduated from SUNY Potsdam in the Spring of ‘23, and now I’m very lucky to be on the air, hanging out with you!
In my free time, I’m a huge gamer. I started playing video games very young with Pokémon: Sapphire in 2004, it’s a hobby that’s persisted my whole life. When I’m not playing games, I’m usually making them. I play Dungeons & Dragons with my friends every weekend. I’m the so-called Dungeon Master, so I’m in charge of almost everything. It’s a lot of work, almost like a second job! I also love spending time with my cat, Ranni, who is a furry bundle of pure energy.
